Community Minded

The members of the Toledo Northwest Ohio Building Trades work and live in Lucas, Wood, Fulton, Henry, Hancock, Williams, Ottawa and Defiance Counties, so we care deeply about our community and fellow residents.

We live in your neighborhoods and attend your churches. We shop at local stores and donate our time and resources to local charities. We serve as mentors in not-for-profit youth programs and support and coach our children’s sports teams right alongside you and your family. Some of our members serve on various community boards, such as Toledo City Council and the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority Board.

The Toledo Northwest Ohio Building Trades also support local sports teams, including the University of Toledo Rockets, Bowling Green State University Falcons, Detroit Tigers, and high school sports teams throughout Northwest Ohio.

Our impact on the community is evident through hundreds of volunteer construction work hours in addition to the many buildings and structures that adorn our area’s cityscapes. We built this community and we are working hard to make it even better.
