The impact of the eighteen local unions  that comprise the Northwest Ohio Building Trades is evident by the many commercial, industrial, bio-tech, governmental, educational and sports and leisure facilities that adorn the cityscapes of Northwest Ohio.

We built this community and we are working hard to make it even better through our current building and construction projects.

Toledo Zoo Aquarium

The historic Toledo Zoo Aquarium underwent its first major renovation in the building’s 74-year history, and the Northwest Ohio Building Trades worked hard to ensure the local landmark reopened looking better than ever.

Pro-Tec Coating Co. Plant

The Toledo Northwest Ohio Building Trades helped make Pro-Tec Coating Co.’s dreams of rolling out a new line of high-strength steel a reality by constructing an expansion for the company’s Leipsic facility.

Overland Industrial Park

The Jeep plant in Toledo used to be the oldest continually operating manufacturing plant in Toledo before closing up in 2006. Thanks to the Northwest Ohio Building Trades, the formerly vacant site will now be home to northwest Ohio’s premier industrial park.

Sylvania Fire Station

The passage of a $1.25 million levy in 2008 paid for the building and remodeling of fire stations across Sylvania Township. The Northwest Ohio Building Trades are finishing up the final weeks of construction at the last levy-funded project at the new No. 1 fire station in downtown Sylvania.

Kroger Maumee

A new Kroger store in Maumee marked a $20 million company investment in the Toledo area. The Northwest Ohio Building Trades completed construction on the 90,921-square-foot store.
