Northwest Ohio is a great place to work and a great place to live.
That is the message of a new content recently released by The Northwest Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council on www.GreatWorkGreatLife.com, a site geared to bring tradesmen and tradeswomen who, are open to traveling, to Toledo for the 2016 construction season.
In addition to the website content, the video was also recently released that can be found on the Northwest Building Trades YouTube channel and the Great Work – Great Life YouTube channel.
Major projects in Northwest Ohio slated for the 2016 construction season include work at a new clean energy plant, a nuclear energy facility, a major refinery and a massive downtown renovation for one of Toledo’s largest employers.
For those properly skilled and trained individuals who want to secure work for 2016, they can now begin the process by going to www.GreatWorkGreatLife.com and filing out the online form. A representative from their designated trade will contact qualified individuals. The online form is not meant to circumvent Referral Hall procedures. Agent-to-agent or referrals will still be required go through all Hiring Hall practices.
Members of all affiliated unions, including organizers, are encouraged to pass along the video and website to any tradesmen who may be interested in traveling for work during the 2016 season.
